Young people from across the North West, have come together to work with Folk Dance Remixed, to create a short joyous outdoor work, fusing traditional folk dance traditions from the region with contemporary hip hop dance and live music! On Friday 8 July, this new piece will be performed outside the Imperial War Museum North to welcome U.Dance 2016’s nationally selected youth dance groups to Salford.
There will be a free public performance Friday 8 July, 7pm on The Lowry Plaza, Salford prior to the Friday evening performances from the National Youth Dance Company and The Lowry’s Centre for Advanced Training.
